ou can apply for the Aeronautical Engineers Course in both Electronics and Mechanical branch in the Indian Air Force.

Eligibility:

you should be minimum 17 and max age is 25

Educational Qualification:

you should have Degree in Engineering in Electronics/Telecom/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/Computer Science branch from recognized institute .

Selection Process:

The selection process includes both written examination and personal interview with the selection committee.

INDIAN AIR FORCE in FLYING BRANCH.

Education Qualification:
B. Tech / BE Graduates (Four yrs course) or Graduate in any discipline(Computer science, Electronics and Communication, Information technology,Electronics and Instrumentation,Civil,Mechanical,Chemical and others). All candidates need to have secured first class (Min. 60% marks in aggregate) & must have undergone Mathematics & Physics in 10+2 through regular schooling.

Age Limit: 19 to 23 yrs.

Marital Status: Single

Final Year / Semester students can also apply provided they do not have any backlog.

Engineering students are exclusively eligible to join IAF Technical Branch.

Students having engineering degree with minimum 60% marks in the subject as per advertisment can join Technical branch. Candidates must have age between 18 to 28 years. Final year/semester appearing students can also apply. For this entry mode both men and women are eligible.

UES (University Entry Scheme): This is another entry mode for which pre final year of engineering students in the subjects as per advertisment are eligible to apply provided they must complete degree with minimum 60% marks. Only men are eligible whome age should be in between 18 to 28 years.

yes why not.........you may prepare for the SSB exams which specially demanding the any bechlor degree........in this exam 5 test are held and ater clearing these test you will get admission in flying university and the best thing is that the govermant will pay your fees and giving you and your family all madical facility......and it is realy good that you want to take flying as a career........all the best

if you are a engg. student you may be the part of the CDS exam and fill the application directly you are a part of the interview or the physical test for this field.

For this you have to take CDSE exam which is conducted by UPSC twice a year to select

To join in Indian Airforce,after B.tech,then you have to appear for CDS/SSC exams.If you qualify in that exam,then you can work as pilot in the defence service.

Yes you can join the Indian Air Force after completing the B.Tech. You can join the technical area after completing the B.tech. You can join the air force through the University entry scheme. You can also enter the air force through attending the SSC exam depending on the post you plan to apply. You need to have at least 60% of marks in the graduation level for attending the SSC exam. You should not be above 23 years of age. You can visit the Indian air force site to know the recruitment procedure.
