What is the maximum age limit for Physically Handicapped person having 40% disability?

First of all you have not mentioned that of which exam you want to know the age limit of.

-> I must inform you that NDA - National Defense Academy doesn't recruit PD candidates

For all the other UPSC Class 1 officer exams like IPS, IAS, Civil Services, IFS, SCRA, etc the age limit varies as follows :

GEN - 21-30 years

OBC - 21-33 years

SC/ST/PD - 21-35 years.

So if you are within this age, and satisfy all the other criteria's of any particular exam, then you can apply for that exam.

you should mention to which exam you are asking the age limit.

As every exam has its own criteria in age limit.

but age relaxation is given to Physically Handicapped Candidates.

most of the exam has 10years of age relaxation on maximum age limit to PHC people.

There is no jobs for VPH in electrical grade. I am surching last 23 years jobs in VPH catgory elect engg.

Hi Friend,

In almost all government jobs you are eligible except Defense sector jobs.
Because they wont recruit PH candidates they need Physically and Mentally Fit candidates.


Railway jobs
35 years max for general category
10 years relaxations for PH candidates which means you can apply till 45 years of old
Bank jobs
30 years is max for General category
40 years for PH category
BSNL
30 years is max for GC
40 years if max for PH

SO, you have crossed max age limit with reservation also,
You cannot apply for government jobs mentioned above...

Physically handicapped persons avail relaxations in respect of age in Govt.PSU sectors.

Maximum Age limit available:-

1.PSU BANK:- General: 21-30 years ,PHD: 21-40.

2.Railway: General:21-35 PHD: 21-45 years.

3.UPSC Civil Services: General: 21-32. PHD: 21-37 years.

4.BSNL:General:21-30 years, PHD: 21-40 years.

reservation quota correctly so 75%
handicapped people prefer Govt.job.
As far as
I am concerned about the age relaxation avail
able in the Govt.department job is as under.
As you have not mentioned the particular type of job.

The relaxations which is given in UPSC/SSC/
SSC-CGL/IBPS/SBI clerk/officers job is as
under.

Age eligibility for PWD candidates in IBPS
AND SBI for clerk-
Gen: 18-28 years
relaxations for PWD :10 years.

Age eligibility for IAS/IPS/IBPS PO/SBI PO:
General : 21-30 years ,
relaxations for PWD:
10 years.
