Are MBA's well qualified to apply for lecturer post in government PU college?


Hi I have done my MBA in VTU, I heard that state govt is not considering MBA Degree for its PU collage lecturer recruitment, is that true..? plz answer me

I AM MBA- 59% PASSED OUT IN 2001. I HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE OF 12 YEARS. WORKING WITH A SOFTWARE COMPANY, I AM GOOD IN TEACHING SO I WANTS TO MAKE MY CAREER AS A LECTURER (GOVT. JOB) . MY AGE IS 37. PLEASE GIVE AN ADVICE- HOW SHOULD I MOVE FURTHER? SHOULD I APPEAR FOR UGC NET ? PLEASE TELL ME IN LITTLE DETAIL.
