LLB refers to Bachelor of legislative law and same is a professional bachelor degree course after completing which one heads towards becoming a lawyer.

* On the basis of duration of course LLB course are of two types which are as discussed below :-

I) LLB course of Five years, for students having completed their higher secondary school degree course in any discipline from a recognized board of education.

II) LLB course of three years, for students having completed their bachelor degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

So it is quite clear that the minimum qualification required for pursuing LLB degree course is a higher secondary school degree from a recognized board. Further for pursuing the same course from top law universities you need to qualify law entrance examinations like CLAT, BHU UET, DU LLB entrance examination, etc. .

As LLB degree course is a professional degree hence it has more job prospects as compared to a simple graduation degree course and hence if you are interested in pursuing LLB degree course then you should go for it.
