National Law University (NLU) are considered as the best law colleges in India. Therefore if you want admission in best law colleges, these colleges should be your priority.

You will have to appear for Common Law Admission Test after completing 12th. There is no criteria for what subjects you should choose for 12th standard. Any subjects will be good as long as you are meeting percentage criteria.

The course offered is integrated LLB course. Which means BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB etc. It has duration of 5 years in comparison to only LLB course which is 3 years long. This is because LLB is done after graduation and integrated course include a graduation degree.

Merit wise there is no difference in two courses. But choosing integrated course means that you will finish law in 5 years in comparison to 6 through other method.

It is very important that you have completed 12th when applying for the Common Law Admission Test. You should be able to submit documents related to 12th standard at the time of applying.

CLAT Eligibility

1. First step is to clear 12th standard.

2. 45 percent marks is minimum criteria to appear for CLAT.

3. SC/ST candidate need at least 40 percent marks in 12th.

4. The age limit is 20 years for General/OBC candidates.

5. SC/ST/PWD can apply till 22 years for the exam.
