Re: Minimum marks required in each subject of JEE to get selected for JEE Advance?
* JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and it is a national level engineering entrance examination held for admission in undergraduate technical courses i.e; B.Tech / B.Arch in Centrally Funded Institutes of technology and other private engineering colleges.
* The same examination is held by CBSE once every year in two stages which includes JEE Main and JEE Advanced respectively. --> Now as far as you are concerned about the eligibility for making in to the JEE Advanced, then for that you will have to qualify JEE Main as well as that much aggregate in your board examination that makes you lie among the top 20 percentile candidates of your board of education. Students managing at least 75% in their board examination does not have to bother about too 20 percentile mark. --> Now to be eligible for JEE Advance one has to qualify JEE Main for must. The qualification marks for each years JEE Main keeps on changing as per the difficulty level of question, seats availablity etc. . But, apart from securing minimum qualification marks in JEE Main you are also need to manage at least 12 marks out of 120 marks in each of the three sections of JEE Main paper i,e; in each of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For more details regarding JEE Main you can log on to its official link www.jeemain.nic.in. |

JEE Mains is an entrance exam that is commenced every year by CBSE.
There is no certain minimum marks that is to be obtained to qualify JEE mains exam. It keeps on changing every year according to difficulty level of the exam. Only those candidates will be allowed to appear JEE advance who have qualified JEE mains exam. Cut off marks for JEE mains candidates to qualify for JEE advanced.
