It is to inform you that there is no such requirement of percentage for IAS.

There is no percentage of marks required for application to IAS Civil Service Exam. Only completion of Graduation is sufficient for application to Civil Service Exam.

To become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC every year by applying for the same.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years.

Percentage are not require for IAS examination . If your qualified in Bachelor degree then your eligible to apply for IAS examination .

IAS means Indian Administrative Services IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year . The IAS examination is divided into three levels namely , preliminary examination , Main examination , Interview .

If your interested to apply for IAS examination then you should finished bachelor degree from recognized university ,

your age should be 21 to 30 years and the relaxation is given for sc/st candidate for 5 years and the OBC candidate for 3 years .

Every general candidates are eligible to give attempt examination for 4 times , If your belong from obc candidate then relaxation is given for 7 times and there is no limit for SC/ST candidates .

Syllabus for Preliminary examination , Indian history , national movements , geography , current events , general science , Indian polity and government , economics etc.

Syllabus for Main examination , English Essay , Two papers on general studies , Two papers on general studies , Four papers on any of the optional subject

The Exam for the post Of IAS Officer is commonly known as the Civil services Exam.

This Exam is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

The Basic Requirements for Civil Services Examination are :

a) Educational Qualifications : Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university/college.

b) Final Year Students can also appear in the exam.

c) Age Criteria : 21-30 years.

d) Relaxation in age is also granted to those who belong to Reserved Categories.

e) Nationality : Indian

f) Number Of Attempts -

General Category : 4

OBC Category : 7

SC/ST Category : No Limit.

The Examination is conducted in three phases namely :

a) Civil Services Aptitude Test

b) MAINS Test

c) Interview Test

You have to pass all the three test in order to crack this examination.

My friend there is no percentage requirement for Indian Administrative Service. If you have completed a graduation course then feel free to apply for the Indian Administrative Service. Please do not worry about that.


You will have to apply for the Civil Service Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. It is a annual exam which is also conducted for Indian Police Service.


The notification will be released in few days. Generally it is issued in November or December. Then in the following year exams are conducted. Firstly preliminary exam is conducted in May followed by Main Exam in August or September.


If you are planning to appear for the next Civil Service Exam then you should start preparation for the exam. You should start with working on your English language skills and General Knowledge.


You should also decide upon the optional subjects that you will select for the Main Exam. Please always choose subjects that you find easy or that are related to your course. Otherwise you may find it difficult to clear the IAS exam.



Eligibility

1. Only Indian national can apply.


Age Limit

1. 21 to 30 years for General candidates.


Upper Age Limit Relaxation

3 years for the Other Backward Class.

5 years for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe.



Education

1. A graduation degree in any discipline.

2. There is no percentage criteria.

Dear friend,

I would like to tell you that there is not any percentage criteria required to appear for IAS.

You just need to clear your Graduation degree and then you can appear for IAS exam.

For IAS, UPSC conducts an exam known as Civil Services Examination.

The exam is conducted in 3 stages:

1. Prelims exams
2. Mains exam
3. Interview

Prelims exam is known by the name CSAT.

It contains 2 papers:
1. General awareness
2. General aptitude

Eligibility criteria for IAS Exam:-

** You must be a graduate in any stream.

** You should be an Indian citizen.

** Your age should be between 21 to 30 yrs.

The IAS Exam is one of the toughest examinations of Our Nation in which more than 10 lakh candidates appear every year in which only 300 candidates get selected.

The Essential Qualifications Required For IAS Exam are :

Dont worry there is no percentage required for IAS.IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) only one time in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

**You should be complete graduation or an bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

**The candidate must be a citizen of india.

**Final year persuing candidates can also be eligible for this exam.

**There is no required percentage to appear this exam.

Age criteria:-

**For General candidates--> 21 years to 30years,

**For OBC candidates--> 21 years to 33years,

**For SC/ST candidates--> 21 years to 35 years.

**For PH OBC candidates--> 21 years to 40years.

If you want to become IAS ( Indian administration services) you must clear your graduation with minimum 50% with recognized University.
Professional and technical qualifications recognised by government are also eligible to apply.
Age limit- minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years.
Age relaxation for sc/st - 5 years, obc- 3 years.
Number of attempts: general- 6 attempts
Sc/st- no limit
obc- 9 attempts.

Minimum percentage required in graduation for IAS is 33%marks you must have attained a minimum age of 21 years to appear for the Civil Service Examination.

And the separate maximum age limit has been set for different reservation categories: 32 years for general category, 35 years for OBC and 37 years for SC and ST. There is extra relaxation in the disabled category.
