I want to joint merchant navy so i want to know the minimum percentage required to joint merchant navy

For Navigation and Engineering Field Merchant Navy you need to Have either B.Sc. degree in mechanical or marine engineering

But who have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) are eligible to join as Deck Cadets

so i want to know the minimum percentage required to joint merchant navy

There is No such Minimum Criteria but its a Technical Field you must be satisfied with your own Results i.e a Minimum of 50% should be there either in 12th or in Degree.

you should require atleast 60%marks in pcm overall and 50% individual.

Sir its good to know about your dream for joining merchant navy 1st you should 12th passed with any stream if you want to do marine engeneering then you should be 12 science passed with pcm and should have above 50 percent with complete subject and above 55 percent in pcm and for that you should log onto best merchant navy colleges and some forms are available in stationary shops .

Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy course:

Candidate should have complete 12th standard with MPC stream with 60% marks in Maths,Physic and Chemistry from recognized university

Age should be between 18 to 20 years.

You have to apply for JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) the exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission).

* Candidates should complete 12th standard from a recognized institute
* Candidates should study physics,maths and chemistry at 12th
* Candidates should get 60% at 12th.
* Candidates should have the age limit within 19 to 23 years of age.
* Unmarried male candidates only can appear for this exam.
* You should be physically fit.

* Interview

sir, am the student of 2 science having 50% in my CHSE exam.plz suggest can i join merchant navy/NDA or not.

60 percent of marks is needed in pcm to take admission in merchant navy. I want to ask that percent should include assesment or not.
