SIR I want to join merchant navy. I finish my 12th in this year. what minimum % is required in 12th to join merchant

You need to have chosen the science stream in 12th standard. The score secured in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is considered. You need to have secured at least 60% in the same. Incase you are eligible you need to prepare for the entrance exam. After that you will need to clear the interview round too.

I want to join the merchant navy im in the 12th science stream how much percent should i secure to gain a post of captain

sir,i appear 12th std this year ,pls sir tell me a i have to joint merchant navy as an captain which best college in india & abroad ,in doing abroad is best than in india &how much fees should have to do a merchant navy? Pls sir rply me

If i get across 50% in 12th....
1. Will i get the chance to give the entrance exam of Merchant Navy...?

2. if i get the chance to give the entrance exam of Merchant Navy & i score well...then may i get the admission in Merchant Navy...?

minimum percentage in +2 is not mandatory but you have taken math,phy,chem 50%

I GOT 52% IN 12TH SCI. CAN I GET ADMISSION FOR DECK CADET IN MARCHANT NAVY

what is the age limit of joining

i have got 44% in 12th stream of science. can i get admission for deck cadet in mercent navy .

after completion of your 10+2 with science stream you can apply for merchant navy. for applying for merchant navy you have to score at least 60% marks in 10+2.

can i apply for navy?

You must have minimum 50% marks in PCM to apply in the merchant navy. You can also try Indian navy which is a better option.

Eligibility : MERCHANT NAVY
-Unmarried male
-Belong to age group of 19-23 years
-Should of Indian
-Should have completed his graduation from a recognized university (with Physics, Mathematics, at 10+2) WITH 55%
-Final year students can also apply
2)National Cadet Corps Special Entry (Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC)
As a air Wing Senior division 'C' certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, you can apply to flying branch.
Physical Eligibility For joining Merchant navy as Deck Cadet are as follows: -
A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.
1. Eye Sight = 6/6,
2. Height = 167 cms,
3. Weight = 50 Kg
4. Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

Qualification required for Merchant navy -
To join Merchant Navy you have to complete at least 12th from any recognized university with Physics, Chemistry ,Math .The minimum percentage requirement for Merchant Navy is 60% in 10th and 12th .

Age limit = 19 to 23 years .

Some colleges conducts a Entrance test session and a Interview session and some colleges offers direct admission .

Marine Engineering of research Institute of Kolkata and Mumbai both offers direct admission .

i got 42 % in 10th in 2010 now doing 12th with isc with weak vision of 2.5, nd if i got 60% aggregate in 12,would i be ilegible to give entrance examination.

dear friend ,you required 55% in 12th to join merchant navy.

You have to apply for JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) the exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission).

* Candidates should complete 12th standard from a recognized institute
* Candidates should study physics,maths and chemistry at 12th
* Candidates should get 60% at 12th.
* Candidates should have the age limit within 19 to 23 years of age.
* Unmarried male candidates only can appear for this exam.
* You should be physically fit.

Procedure:

* written exam
* Interview
