TCS is the top most IT companies in the world. It is not mandatory to secure 60% in each semester if you have over all 60% then it will not create any problem. Those candidate have 60% above in academic career are eligible for TCS. But the candidate must have not any backlog in current year.Pending backlog are not allowed. Maximu two years gape are allowed for TCS. All the best. |

Re: Is it necessary to secure 60% marks in all semesters to be eligible for TCS?
No friend,not at all.
TOTAL 60% aggregate is required here.I mean 60% in your B.TECH. You don't need 60% in all your 8 semesters.Over all 60% marks is required for TCS. Then you must know the criteria details about TCS : Educational Details : you must score 60% in 10th, 12th and graduation level. You must not have any pending backlogs and maximum 2years of study gap is allowed here. Procedure : There are two steps.the 1st one is aptitude test and the another one is interview.Interview will contain HR and TECHNICAL both. |

Eligibility For TCS In order to sit for the TCS campus placement..you need to fulfill the following conditions :- 1) You should have 60% as your overall percentage in B.Tech when you appear for the placement.. 2) You should have a study gap of not more than 1 year.. 3) There should not be any active backlogs at the time of your placement.. So,you just have to score an average 60% in your all the semesters of B.Tech till the time of your placement.. you need not score 60% above in every semester.. all the best.. Re: Is it necessary to secure 60% marks in all semesters to be eligible for TCS?
I have 85% in 10th, 71% in 12th and aggregate 57%. In last year of BE, I have 63%. So, when companies say that they want 60% throughout what they mean? I mean they want aggregate 60% in BE or in all semester 60% or in last year of BE 60% ?

Re: Is it necessary to secure 60% marks in all semesters to be eligible for TCS?
Hello, It is not necessary to secure 60 percent in all the semesters for a career in TCS .
You need to have an aggregate 60% in your graduation plus no current backlog at the time.of joining. Good luck |
