I think you are talking about NPTI.

However,Npti has already conducted admission (on 21.12.2009) for it 2010 2nd batch of operation and mentainence of transmission and distribution system,which is a 26 weeks long course.

However,you can apply for graduate engineers course (thermal) for the batch of 2010-2011.

The minimumqualification is you must be a b.e/b.tech in electrical/electrics and electronics/instrumentation engineering with atleast 60% aggregate including all semester and must not crossed the age limit of 30 years.

Selection is based on percentage scored in b.e./b.tech.

You are required to apply on a plane paper in a following format :-
1. Candidates Name.
2. Father's Name.
3. Date of birth & age as on 31.12.2009.
4. Sex.
5. Marital Status.
6. Nationality.
7. Whether SC / ST / OBC.
8. Postal Address.
9.Educational qualification starting from B.E./B.Tech onwards stating subjects, college / Institution, % of marks (Grading viz. CPI, DGPA, CGPA, OGPA, etc. are to be converted into equivalent percentage which should be supported by certificate issued by the concerned University), along with the year of passing.Note all mark sheets should we attested.
10. Experience, if any
11.Sponsored / Non - sponsored (If sponsored attach certificate from employer).
12. E-Mail ID.
13. Signature. Of the candidate.
And dispatch it along with a DD.of 700/- in favour of NPTI payable at neyveli.

National Power Training Institute in Faridabad, Haryana has invited applications for admission into two years full time MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme in Power Management (approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak ), offered in the upcoming academic session 2010-12.

Its NPTI(national power training institute).
So you can take admission through your score in B.Tech/B.E. The selection is totally based on marks followed by an interview(technical&non-technical).
This is specilly for mechanical,electronics and electrical engineering branch. Instrumentation student also apply for this training.
The course duration for this will be 8 months(approx 25weeks).
The course fees is quite expensive around 1lacks per annum.
