You are in 27 years old so you are eligible for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM.

DETAILS ABOUT CIVIL SERVICE EXAM

Civil service exam exam conducted by UPSC.There is no marks criteria.Only graduate are applicable for you.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university.

For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 27 years
For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years

Number of attempts for me for Civils being a candidate of OC category with a date of birth of 15-06-1986?

The civil service examination is among the best government examination and is conducted by UPSC.The eligibility criteria for civil services Examination are as follows :

• Educational Qualification :
  • You must be a graduate with any stream from a recognized university.
• Age Criteria
  • For General Category - 21 to 30 years.
  • For OBC Category Students - 21 to 33 years means they enjoys an age relaxation of 3 years.
  • For SC/ST- 21 to 35 years means they enjoys and age relaxation upto 5 years .
• Number of Permissible Attempts :
  • For General Category Students - 4 attempts
  • For OBC - 7 attempts
  • For SC/ST- No limit means they can attempt any number of times upto the age of 35 years.

After looking the eligibility criteria we can say that you are eligible for applying for Civil Services Examination .

Yes, my friend you can go for civil service exams..

Age limit for Civil service exams:-

1.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

As you are from OBC category then you will get upper age relaxation of 3 years.
According to your date of birth you are 26 years old now, then still you can appear in civil service exams for seven times..

So, don't worry you will have enough opportunity to crack the exam.

As you are from the OC category so you have 4 attempts to write the civil service Exam.

Means you can say that you can appear from 2013 to 2016 as at that time you will be at the age of 30 & for the general candidates the age limit is from 21 to 30 years.

for applying for the civil service exam the aspirant should satisfy certain essential criteria which includes
1. The aspirant should have bachelor degree from a recognised university.
2. The minimum age for applying for the exam is 21.
3. The aspirant can apply upto maximum age of 30 years. For sc and st aspirants relaxation of five hours is given. For bc and mbc aspirant relaxation of 5 years is provided.
General category aspirant can apply maximum of 4 times. Bc and mbc aspirant can attempt 7 times. There is no restriction for sc and st aspirants.
As you are 25 years of age you are eligible provided you have completed bachelor degree. And you can attempt the exam for maximum of 4 times within 30 year

I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass the graduation from recognized university.

For open category:-21-30year
For OBC category :- 21-33year
For ST/SC category:-21-37 year

After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam.
I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year.

You can apply online or offline.
The Form cost is just 20 Rs.
