Indian Administration Service exam is held once in a year is conducted by UPSC
Minimum Eligibility for IAS exam Minimum Qualification 1.Graduated from recognized university in any discipline. 2.final year student can also apply. Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates 21to 33 year for OBC category candidates 21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates Number of attempts: 4 attempts for General category candidates. 7 attempts for Obc category candidates 14 attempts for SC/ST category candidates. There are 3 stages in IAS that should be cleared by the candidate. First Stage----------preliminary exam (It is objective type exam) Second Stage------ main exam (Question to be answer in length) Third Stage--------- personal interview Clearing one stage will get you to another stage exam. Important dates :: Date of Notification::04.02.2012 Last date for receipt for application:: 05.03.2012 Date of Preliminary Examination ::20.05.2012 Date of main examination ::05.10.2012 |

HI
Indian administrative service officers start their careers with great efforts . They should trust their the law and order situation of the city and development work of the areas under their charge. it is the most identical position in the IAS services, At the top of the IAS officers at the Centre is the Cabinet Secretary . Qualification Graduated from recognized university Age should be between : 21 to 35 years Attempts:this depends on you because how much your fit for the exam then automatically you will be qualified in the first attempt only. well all the best and its not that much easy ,so confident n get through it . |

If you are interested in IAS then you will have to fulfill these criteria IAS eligibility : Academic Qualification : The candidate must be graduate from any university. Age Limit : For General :21 to 30 years.[SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation] No Of Attempts : General : 4. SC/ST: Unlimited. OBC :7. IAS-INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one has to appear and crack the Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years. There is upper age relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidate up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC candidate. you must have a U.G i.e bachelors degree in any field from a recognised university to fight civil services examination plus you must be in the age reange 21 years to 30 years.you must also have full dedication towards this examination.first you have to clear the prelims then only if you get selected,can qualify for the mains.good luck!

To become IAS officer, the candidate needs to write the civil service examination conducted by UPSC. There are three stages of the examination. 1.Preliminary exam 2.Main exam 3.Interview The minimum eligiblity required to appear for the examinations are as follows; A bachelor's degree or equivallent qualification from a recognised institute . The eligible age limit is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 30 years with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and of 3 years for the OBC's. After successful completion of the exam, the candidate will be eligible to write the main examination which will be followed by interview. After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam. I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year. Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year. you want to appear IAS exam minimum eligibility a batch degree from recognized university and you must have attained the age of 21 years not be over 30 years of age as on 1st August, 2011. And final years students also eligible.according to the government of india rules general category candidate can appear 4 times only,OBC can appear 7 times and SC & ST candidate have no limit for appearing and the forms available in all the designated post office across the country. all the best.......... |

i am graduated BCA from bhavnagr university of gujarat. pursuing i am doing MCA SEM-III.i want to become an IAS officer, so during comeleting my MCA i want to give examination for ias. can i give the examination for ias.my agreegate marks of bca marks is 59% and for mca SEM-I SEM-II=68%. |
