Re: Attempts in UPSC Exams for General Category?
Dear Friend
The age limit for UPSC is as under. GEN-30 years OBC-33 years SC/ST- 35 years The no. of attempts is as under. GEN- 4 attempts OBC- 7 attempts SC/St- No attempt restriction. The no. of attempts is counted in such a way that you you become eligible from both age and no. of attempts point of views. For example; If you belong to GEN category and you attempted UPSC 4 times at the age of 22, 24, 26 and 28 then your no. of attempts is over at that point and you will not be allowed further to appear UPSC despite the fact that you are eligible as per age limit. You have to utilize your no. of attempts within your age limit. Thank You |
