sir , i actually want to know the perfect idea about gate exam?
again how many attempts for gate exam for all the categories?
please answer it fast............. am waiting for reply..

there is no any limitation for gate exam so you can try as more time you want . so enjoy and if you are sure that you can get into it then keep trying.

for the gate exams there is no any restiction on the number of the attempts.

one can attempts as much as he can .

also there is no any age barrier,

so no needs to get worry.

just prepare well and crack the gate exams.

There is no limitations as such! You can write GATE exams as many times as you want and this goes same with all the categories. However, the score will be valid only for two years.

gate exam is termed as the graduate aptitude test ..
and this exam is conducted each and every year.
this year this exam is conducted on 13 feb.
the validity of the score card is of 2 years.
and there is no any barrier of the number of the attempts.

you can attempt it as many times you want.this is basically for those candidates who are willing to take admission in postgraduate programmes.it is an all india examination conducted by IIS & seven IITs.

Hey , there are no fixed number of attempts in GATE exam, it even havent specified in the GATE brochure. GATE exam can be taken any number of times but the basic thing is that it would affect your GATE score(not GATE percentile) since it GATE score formula previous year's performance is also considered.
However if you are going to attemt only 2-3 times then it is not a considerable thing, just prepare for it.

there is no limit for appearing in gate either for SC,ST,OBC or open category.
You can appear any number of times. But once you clear it the score is valid for only two year .

There is no bar in the GATE exam , you can attempt any number of times. Candidates of any category will attempt any number of times the GATE examination.

So if you have following education qualification then you are eligible to appear for the GATE exam.

1.B.E/B.Tech degree from recognized university. Students of final year and pre final year are eligible for this exam.

2.Candidates holding master degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Application are also eligible for the GATE examination.

So you can attempt the GATE examination any number of times if you have the above education qualification.

GAte score is valid for two years.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones such that One Indian Institute of Science(IISc),Bangalore and the Seven IITs(Bombay,Kharagpur,Kanpur,Guahati,Roorkee,Madra s,Delhi)

According to the Eligibility of the GATE:

1:You should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Architecture or Pharmacy of 4 years after 10+2.

2:You can also apply if you are in the final or pre-final year examination of the Master Degree.

3:You have to be a Master degree holders in any branch of Science like Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications etc....

4:You can also apply if you are in the final or pre-final year examination of the Master Degree.

According to the GATE rules,there is no limit of appearing in GATE exam,there is no age limit also.

Not only the gate exam is possible for the m tech. There are more possibilites are available. You did not attend the gate exam on problem. You can select other colleges and universites. The are many number of colleges and universites are available. You can select any one. Best of luck.
