Re: Optional subjects in IAS Exam
dear guest,
to be an introvert is not a criteria to pass the exam but to possess a leadership quality you must well behaved and a good command on your language & no doubt a strong I.Q level.Try to adopt those if anyone is missing from your character. To be good in Essays, you should write and explain all the explainatory part of the sample paper. If possible ,you should write various articles in the newspapers & take part in many writing competitions. maths is no doubt a scoring subject. Yes, physics & electronics also is a good combination & available also. yes, electronics is available for optional. |

Re: Optional subjects in IAS Exam
For the Civil Services Main exam selecting the correct elective subjects is the key to success. Nearly everyone often choose their core area of study as the first optional paper. The second optional paper will consume nearly all of your preparation time. Make sure to select a subject that is interesting and comfortable to handle. Also have an aptitude towards that discipline which makes it further easy to learn. IAS aspirants can chose different optional subjects according to their knowledge base. As an engineering student you can choose from the following for both exams. Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Statistics.
