Sir, I passed 12th from Bihar board and I got 74.2 percent but 97.23 percentile. I want to know whether I am eligible for Jee main 2017 or not.

For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NIT/CFTIs whose admission is based on the JEE Main ranks, they should have scored 75% at least in the 12th examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by respective Boards. For SC/ST they should secured at least 65% in the 12th examination.

According to your percentile you are eligible but according to the marks secured in 12th examination you are not eligible if you belong to General category. But in case if you are SC/ST then yes you can apply for JEE 2017.

There is no roll or percentile in JEE mains exam. You must have passed 12th standard from any affiliated board to appear in JEE mains exam. With 74.2 percent marks in with PCM as the three main subjects in 12th standard, you are eligible to appear in JEE mains exam. Also, you have to fulfill the age criteria to appear in JEE mains 2017. You must be born on or after October1, 1992.
However, five years age relaxation is given to candidates from reserved category. You must be noted that the age relaxation is given in upper age limit only.

The eligibility as per percaentage for JEE mains is as follows:

12th Pass with

1-Language, 2-Physics, 3-Mathematics, 4-Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject), 5-Any other subject. With min 75% marks (Aggregated) and 65% in case of applicant belonging to SC/ST category or be in top 20 percentile.

Oh. So sorry for that. But i would say that there is a minimum requirement to score atleast 75% to get admission into NITs and IITs. But dono worry you can pursue for govt. Coleges.. and you would also get pretty branch there so all the best.

Sir I got 75.45% including physics, chemistry,math and English in cbse board exam. Can I eligible to take admission in iit nit through jee main exam.

Sir I got 57.4%in 12th bihar board examination in 2017. I belong to sc Caste . Can l give exam of JEE in 2018.

Yes you are eligible for JEE Entrance Exam. Since, minimum percentage required for JEE is 75%(General category) in Class 12th Board Examination. And, minimum 65% for SCs and STs.

Sir i have not given 12 board exam my aim is to read in nit.how many percentage required in 12 board exam in 2018 reply as soon as possible.....
