to apply for ISRO examination candidate should have minimum of 65% marks in B.E/B.Tech or equivalent examination.
the maximum age criterion for general candidate is 35years on 28.02.2011. for SC/St candidate is 40years on 28.02.2011 and for OBC candidate is 38years on 28.02.2011. recently there is notification published at 8th February for the engineering student in ISRO. the last date to apply for the post 28.02.2011. visit the website http://www.isro.org/scripts/job.aspx for more details. eligibility criterion and how to apply is given in the website. only candidate can apply through online. the examination date is 16th April, 2011. |

Indian space research organization will take candidates for the various posts in ISRO. The students studying in B.E/B.Tech are eligible to apply for the various posts of in ISRO. The detailed eligibility criteria for the admission in ISRO is given below: Posts for which a engineer can apply (I)Scientist/Engineer SC - Architecture Job work: 1.The candidates for this post has to do the following jobs: 2.Preparation of working drawings including details. 3.Electrical, mechanical and A/C designs with architectural design. 4.They has to visits to construction sites. 5.They had to use software such as Autocad, Autoarchitect, etc., for the preparation of drawings. Education Qualification: The candidate applying for the above post should have Bachelor Degree in Architecture with minimum of 65% marks in graduation. (II)Scientist/Engineer SC - Civil Job work: Design of Buildings,construction of high rise buildings, Technical buildings, water supply and sewage treatment Computer Aided Design and Construction Technology is desirable. Education Qualification: The candidate applying for the above post should have a degree in B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg)/ OR equivalent in Civil Engineering with minimum of 65% marks. (III)Scientist/Engineer SC - Electrical Job work: Installation, testing, operation and maintenance of 11 KV substations DG sets, Electrical panel boards, UPS systems. Automatic voltage stabilizers. Electrification of buildings including lighting, power, smoke detection systems. Education Qualification: The candidate applying for the above post should have degree in B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg) OR in Electrical OR Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum of 65% marks. So you can apply in ISRO as Scientist/Engineer SC - Civil and Scientist/Engineer SC - Electrical. But you have to score atleast 65% marks in your engineering. GOOD LUCK |

As you are an ECE engineer, you can apply as a Scientist/Engineer SC-Electronics. For cse engineers it is Scientist/Engineer SC-Computer Science. Minimum Eligibility is: A bachelor's degree in Engineering with First class with an agrregate of 65%(all semesters). Age limit: Upto 35 years as on 28.02.2011(40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates). Online Application: The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 08-02-2011 and 28-02-2011 Fee: *Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for each application. *Women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application fee. For posts of Engineers/Scientists in ISRO you need to have a minimum of 65% aggregate overall in your B.tech course.Candidates who are in their final semester or those who have completed their B.tech course can apply for this examination.
Candidates from the age group below 35 can apply for this examination.Relaxation is provided for the candidates from SC/ST/OBC background. To apply for ISRO Examination your career should be 1st Class and also you must have a minimum 65% marks in your B.E/B-TECH level.

To get a job in ISRO , one has to qualify in the written test exam, which is conducted by ISRO itself.. Eligibility to appear for the written test:----- Educational qualification:------------ 1.Candidate must have complete the BE/B.tech course in streams like- *Electronics *Electrical *Computer science *Mechanical 2.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate through out the career. 3.Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.. Age eligibility:------- 1.Candidates age should not be more than 35 years. Nationality:------------ 1.Candidate should be a citizen of India.. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. So, get prepare for the exam and try to crack the exam.. After qualifying in the exam, you have to go through the technical interview session, where they will ask you questions from your technical papers.. Be prepare for that.. All the best.. |
