wht is the percentage required in iit-jee ..please tell me the percentage required

As you are a bit confused about the Eligibility of IIT JEE then here's your answer that A candidate only can give twice in consecutive years , Candidates has to either pass the qualifying exam or has to appear for it.

Candidates who belongs to General Category and OBC Category has to secure at least 60% Marks in aggregate.

And those who belongs to SC/ST/PH category they has a Relaxation of 5% i.e 55% should be the minimum marks in Qualifying Examination.

ur aggregate percentage in PCM in class 12th should be 60%..that is the minimum percentage requirement..

The minimum percentage required to be eligible for IIT JEE is as under-

1. The candidate must be at least 12th pass with 60% from a recognized board or university with physics,chemistry and maths as compulsory subjects.

2. Whereas, those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the QE(Qualifying Exam)

If you are interested for iit-jee then percentage roll a very important role.Its depend on your 12th percentage.If you get above 60% in 12th then you can give the entrance paper of engineering iit-jee.
You can give itt-jee only for two times.So its very hrd as compare to othr entrance paper.
I think You get your answer.

The eligibility to appear in IIT-JEE exam are as follows:-

*One must have complete the 12th in Science(Physics, chemistry, maths) with 60% marks..

*One can appear in IIT-JEE exam twice in consecutive manner..
You can appear in IIT-JEE exam at the year of passing the 12th and the next year of it..

If you really wants to appear in IIT-JEE exam then you have prepare yourself..
You can join some coaching classes to perform well in that exam..
So, work hard, and be determine..

Eligibility Criteria in Qualifying Examination:
Candidates belonging to General (GE), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and DS categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in their Qualifying Examination. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD) categories must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination. The percentage of marks awarded by the Board will be treated as final.

To satisfy the eligible criteria of IIT JEE you must have secure minimum of 60%
..
then only you can appear the IIT JEE exam..

If you are eligible, and you have interest for it, then just do your best for preparation , you ll must achieve it..

If you want to take examination of IIT then you must have to fulfill given criteria mention below.

Eligibility
•-> 12 Pass from an affiliated board
•-> Min. 60% marks in 12th for GEN and OBC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.

You must be completed your 12 th standard with above 60 % marks.

If the passed certificate is distance mode then you are not eligible.

Your 12 th aubject must be math , phy ,chem .

Candidates who belongs to General Category and OBC Category has to secure at least 60% Marks in PCM (PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY,MATHS) from a recognized board.

And those who belongs to SC/ST/PH category they has a Relaxation of 5% i.e 55% should be the minimum marks in Qualifying Examination.

Minimum Percentage of Marks in QE

Candidates belonging to GE and OBC categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in QE. SC, ST and PD candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in QE.

The percentage of marks awarded by the Board will be treated as final. If the Board does not award the percentage of marks, it will be calculated based on the marks obtained in all subjects listed in the mark sheet.
QE stands for aualifying exam that is class 12 boards exam.

for IIT jee you need to get 60% in your 12th exam overall which includes your pcm also and it is 55% for sc /st.

If you are interested in IIT JEE then here is the criteria details for you :

1.You should have minimum 60% marks in your 12th standard examination.

2.You should have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 PCM.

3.Your age must be within 25 years.


If you have all these criteria then you are eligible for IIT JEE.

Dear pal,
IIT conducts Joint entrance exam for admission of aspirants into the various engineering courses in IIT.
The ACADEMIC eligibility required for the exam are
1.The aspirant need to have passed the 10+2 exam conducted by state or the central board with physics,chemistry and mathematics as their subjects.The aggregate mark required is 60% for the general and OBC category .And it is 55% for the SC/St category aspirants.
or
2.candidate with HSC vocational qualification.
OR
or
3.diploma recognised by AICTE
OR
4.Joint service exam of national defence academy.


The age criteria for the exam is maximum of 24 for general and OBC.the age is relaxable for 4 years for others

one can attempt JEE only two times

I had 60 percent in 10,53 percent in diploma and 75 percent in b.tech.am i eligible to do m.tech in iit?

1.The candidate should must have complete 12th class with non-medical subjects(with PCM) i.e.physics,chemistry and mathematics .

2.he/she should have at least 60% marks in 12th class to appear in the IIT-JEE entrance exam.

Dear IIT-JEE aspirant,

According to eligibility criteria of IIT-JEE,
Minimum Percentage in 10+2 to appear in IIT-JEE exam:
for General/OBC is 60%
& for SC/ST is 55%


However, this year there are some change in the eligibility criteria of IIT-JEE.
Please check its criteria during November-December.
