No, it is not possible to appear in 10th standard CBSE Board examination being a 7th standard student. To be eligible to appear in 10th standard CBSE Board examinations, you should have passed 9th standard and pursued 10th standard from a Government recognised board. The minimum age criteria required to apply for 10th standard CBSE Board examinations is 15 years. Since, your son has not studied 9th and 10th standard, he is not eligible to appear in 10th standard CBSE Board examinations.

Sorry to say you, but your ward is not eligible to appear in 10th CBSE Board examination just after completing 7th standard. To appear in 10th standard, one must have to complete 9th standard.

In CBSE board, there is a registration of students held in the standard 9th. And without this registration, one can never able to give 10th board examination.

No, you cannot directly appear for 10th Board Exam after passing 7th standard in CBSE.

As per CBSE rules and guidelines, candidate's registration to CBSE is done in 9th standard itself.

In some schools, you may skip 8th standard. But skipping 9th standard is not possible. So, you have to appear for 9th standard anyhow to appear for 10th Board Exam in CBSE.

No, it is not possible to appear direct 10th class after 7th class because in CBSE board for attending 10th class the candidate should have passed 9th class.

In CBSE board they calculate the 9th & 10th class marks. In other state board they calculate 10th class marks. So, if you really wanna attend direct 10th class it will be better if you join in any state level board.
In CBSE it is not possible to attend direct 10th class exam.

It is not possible.

The eligibility criteria to appear for board examination of tenth standard is that student should have studied upto 8th standard then registered for board exam in ninth with preferred subjects then pass ninth standard.

After that get admission in tenth standard then appear for board examination.

No, there is no way in which your son can be allowed to appear in CBSE Class 10th board examination right after his Class 7th as for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examinations the candidate is first need to register for CBSE Class 10th board examinations while he/she is pursuing his/her Class 9th.

So, your son can be admitted to Class 9th at maximum ( provided he/she clears the admission test for admission in Class 9th ) after clearing in his Class 7th.
