I will tell you the step by step procedure to become IAS officer after completing your Graduation. Step 1 You have to check your eligibility that means age and education. age should be in between 21 and 30 education should be atleast a degree of any discipline. Step 2 after obtaining eligibility you have to wait for notification of UPSC civil service exam. This is the carrier of your dream. that is you have to get through this examination and after clearing only you will become IAS officer. Step 3 after seeing notification in any of the national dailies or in the most famous employment news you have to apply for it. Step 4 You will have to get prepared and be ready for the three level examination pattern in the selection procedure. the three levels here are CSAT : Civil services aptitude test. Mains exam PI : Personal interview. Step 5 Till you complete your PI you have to work hard with all enthusiasm. after clearing all the above levels. Step 6 you will get your name in the merit list if your performance is exceptionally well. then you will be given a service and cadre according to your rank and performance. Step 7 according to your service what ever it may be either IAS IPS IFS anything. you will get trained in centers like musori etc.. Step 8 after completion of your training procedure you will be placed in your cadre as a Junior officer. Now you are the IAS officer after all these steps. This is the road map . The reality may be a slight different from this but you will cross and touch all these things which are discussed above. above given road map is just a brief if you want any detailed clarification please again do ask the query with the necessary details we will definitely try to resolve your query.
