There is No specific Course for Indian Air Force . But there are many job posts available in the field of Indian Defense sector.

For the fact, through Engineering courses you will have number of opportunities available in Defense sector. Especially in the wing of Indian Air Force you will have various opportunities as per ranking.

So take your own decision to chose the course in graduation. There by you can achieve your goals. For IAS exams there is No specific courses to chose in graduation.

If you are interested to become Indian Administrative Services officer, you need to go for the Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Civil Services examination is conducted in three stages:

1. Preliminary examination.

2. Main examination.

3. Personal interview.

Minimum educational qualification required to appear for this exam is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

The age limit for candidates of general category is 21-32 years and upper age relaxation in age applicable to OBC and SC/ST.

You can pursue your bachelor's degree in any discipline in which you are interested keeping in mind that you can select the same subject for optional paper in Civil Services examination.

For joining different wings of defense, you can appear for the Combined Defense services examination conducted by the UPSC twice every year.

For Indian Airforce, Air Force Common Admission test is conducted by Airforce.

Yes, you are eligible for the Army or Air Force after the 10+2 from the PCM but you need to qualify in the NDA entrance examination.

The examination is conducted by the UPSC twice every year in the month of April and September. The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-
* Candidate must have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board.
* Candidate age must be between 16.5-19 years.

The examination is conducted in two stages as the Written and the SSB. The candidate after qualifying in the written are eligible for the SSB.

But to qualify for the IAS entrance examination conducted by the UPSC as the civil services examination.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidate must have passed the graduation in any discipline from the recognised university. Candidate age must be between 21-30 years and relaxation in the age for the other category candidate.

So go for the NDA examination now and continue your preparation for the civil services preparation.
