After graduating in Computer Applications,from a recognized university, you will be eligible to join the Officer Training Academy for necessary training get into the Indian Army.
Indian Military Academy is basically for male candidates and girls are trained at the Officer Training Academy-OTA.
In order to join the academy, you will have to qualify combined defense service exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Apart from being a graduate, you should be within the age limit of 19-25 years during the time of application process.

You can definitely join Indian Military Academy after doing BCA Course. You can join through CDS Academy.

Combined Defence Academy - CDS

To join Indian Military Academy, you have to appear in Combined Defence Service i.e. CDS Examination conducted by UPSC & held twice in a year as CDS I & CDS II Exam.

Eligibility Criteria for CDS :

• You should have passed Bachelor degree course in any stream from recognized university.

• You can also appear in CDS Exam while pursuing final year of Bachelor degree course.

• Your Age should be in between 19 to 24 years.

• You should be Unmarried & male.

• You must have Indian citizenship.


Application Procedure for CDS :

You can apply for CDS Examination in Online mode only.

Eligible ones may apply for CDS Examination Online by using UPSC official website.

You can join IMA by giving CDS Examination.

CDS:- Combined Defense Service

CDS Examination is carried out by Union Public Service Commission of Indian.
