Qualification required to study Post Graduation in History for B.Com student?


Respected Sir,
I am doing B.Com but now I want to
do Post Graduation in History.
Kindly tell me what is the required
qualification for admission in PG(History)?

Yes, it is very much possible for you to do post graduation in History.

let us tell you the different cases in which one becomes eligible for doing PG in history-

>> First of all, if you have completed your BA from History with at least 50% marks then you can directly apply for the PG in universities like Delhi University.

>> Since, you haven't done your BA from history and you are from the commerce background, so you need to at least have 60% marks in your B.com to be eligible for the PG in history.

>> Reputed universities like DU first take the students directly based on their percentage criteria.

>> If seats are left thereafter, a written test is taken which you need to pass to be eligible for the PG.

So, check all the possibilities and find out in which one do you lie and then prepare for the admissions accordingly.
