Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam

~You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute.

~You can also eligible for civil service exam while in graduation final year.

~UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage.

~Your Age shpuld be with in the limit of 21 to 23 years.
Age should be with in 21 to 33 years for OBC candidates & 21 to 35years for ST/SC candidates.

Yes, B-TECH student are applicable for Civil Service Exam but you must have completed this degree or final of this degree.

Civil Service Exam is conducted by UPSC .CSAT conduct two exams IAS and IPS exam.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for Civil Service Exam exam.

But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

The Civil Service Exam selection process is consist in three way

As far as Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam is concern for that you should be graduate from any recognised university in any stream with only passing mark required there is no minimum percentage required as far as civil services exam is concern
Civil Services Exam Will be held in Three Round .

1. Preliminary Exam - This is an objective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, qualifies tothe second phase.
