Detailed information and structure of Civil Services? Suitable books to prepare for CSAT?
Guys
I am very much crazy about Civil Services. I want to appear for IAS exam, but at the same time I also like Indian Foreign Services, But I prefer IAS much more than this two, Sir please explain to me the entire structure of Civil Services, and books required for CSAT. |

Civil Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year. Minimum Education Qualification to apply for this examination is that candidate should have finished degree course from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Candidate age should have minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years at the time of appearing for this examination. Upper age limits is applicable for this examination.
The Selection Process is consist of Prelims, Main Examination and Personal Interview. Prelims Examination consist of two compulsory papers of 200 marks in the each civil service examination. Both the papers are of the objective type questions. Main Examination consist of Eight Papers. You have to qualify all the main Exam papers. Books for Civil Service Examinations :-
