Internal Sliding Internal Sliding is an option exercised by the CCB after 4th and 5th rounds. So what does Internal sliding mean? Well There are certain students who are satisfied with their alloted college but are pretty unhappy with their alloted Branch. So that's where Internal Slinding Comes into Effect! Students can fill up their choice of branch in the particular college (Obviously After getting admitted in an NIT ). And Depending on the choices, The CCB automated System allots fresh seats to all Candidates(those who have applied). After this the CCB puts up the vacancy positions in its Official Website ( www.ccb.nic.in ) Seeing which the other students( who have not yet been alloted any seat ) can appear for the SPOT ROUNDS depending on the vacancies. NOTE : 1) Internal Sliding Option is provided even after 1st year. But only the Toppers of the branch get a chance to appear for that.
2) Nowadays, Students Rely on this Internal Sliding and Make their Preferences. |

Personal Opinion About Internal Sliding Recently, I met a Proffesor of NIT Surathkal, Karnataka For some Guidance About the Available Seats in AIEEE. And when i asked him to hint me on the Internal Sliding, This is where the Discusion Led to:
So you can Sense the Level of Difficulty and the Competition persisting therein. So now, i think you should dwell on this thought for some time- "Can I Rely on Internal Sliding, And Carry on with the Branch i have secured???" And One more thing- Hope this helps some of you.. With best Regards, Nik
