SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR AFCAT

AFCAT consists of 3 rounds...

-> Written Test - 100 questions (with negative marks if answered wrong)

-> Group Discussion

-> Interview.

The AFCAT exam would be conducted on 2th March 2011 (Sunday) at on of the examination centers mentioned below.

The entrance test will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and aptitude. once finalized the details of short listed candidates based on Air Force Common Admission Test will be displayed air force career web site

Important Dates:
Last Date for receipt of application: 22nd February 2011
Last Date for receipt of application for far flung areas candidates: 1st march 2011.

AFCAT syllabus generally include Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude


You should have a good command over them because the exam consist of objective question with a span of 2 hours only

And you have to smartly answer all those question because every question consists of 3 marks and your one mark will be deducted for 1 negative answer

Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer

You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.

You need to Crack the Exam in order to Get selected for Above named Branches.

& Its Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions.

1.Flying Branch

The selection in these branches will be done through the following steps

Air Force Common Admission Test(AFCAT) is very prestigious Exam

conducted every year by INDIAN AIR FORCE for recruitment.

Hi,I've cleared the AFCAT exam and I was wondering what all do I have to prepare myself in in order to ace the SSB.I've heard its a very rigorous process.Kindly Advise suitably.

How many people will be selected after SSB?

they have shortlisted many candidates in AFCAT written exam...........may be they will earn more money through this .... all of we know that maximum candidates are out of it during 1st step of SSB.
