Should best of 5 be chosen for calculating percentage of 10th board exam?

Should I choose best of 5 subject marks to calculate my percentage of 10th class under CBSE board of education if I have 6 subjects only?

Yes, for calculating percentage, best of five subjects will be considered.

If you have six subjects, then top five subjects out of six subjects will be chosen and rest will be excluded for calculating percentage.

Note that, English is compulsory subject and you cannot exclude English from calculating percentage although you have scored less in that subject.

We have 6 subjects in standard 12th. Which top 5 subjects will be considered by the teacher while calculating the overall percentage? Is one of the main subject like physics or chemistry is replaced by the additional subject while calculating the overall percentage by teacher?
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
