i m an computer engineer from V.T.U of 2011 batch.Till now i din't get any jobs and i m not finding any interest in IT sector.Should i go for govt job or should i stick with private sector.please help me i m very confused.

It is your interest whether to opt for job opportunities in private sector or public sector after completion of Computer Engineering.

You did not mention the percentage of marks that you have secured in your Computer Engineering.

You should be a career 60 candidate in order to be eligible for vareity of Job Opportunities in IT companies. Some IT companies will put the minimu eligibility criteria of Career 70% too.

Here are some of the popular IT companies where you can try for job opportunities.
-TCS
-Wipro
-Inforsys
-IBM
-Google
-Zenpact etc.

If you want to maker a career in IT companies, then better to join in private companies because you will be paid more salaries and you get more benefits when compared to public sector.

But if you want to have job security, better to join in public sector companies.

For you if job is that much important and if you are interested to join any of the Government job, then you can prepare for various competitive exams like
-CDS
-Civil Services Exam (CSAT)
-Bank PO Exams
-Railway Exams etc
and crack them.

In order to crack any of these exams, you should have good preparation for the written exam because the competition is more for these exams and by showing good performance in written exam only, you can overcome competition to get job opportunity.

But I suggest you to take a decision by focussing on your long term objectives and goals. Wish you all the best.

If you have through 65% in your career then you are applicable for maximum no of private and public sector both.

But the better option for you to go for M-TECH or MBA or JRF or SRF or PHD.

But you should try in www.naukri.com because they suggest you for goverment Or private Jobs..

it is totally depend on your own goals and your future planning and your interest to go in private sector on in government sector. there is some distinct properties of both of the fields. private sector has a big salary and it increases with experience but here you have to do work more and more. the private sector want a tiredless person.also you can get name and fame both in the government sector.
