which subjects can i choose as optional for ias exam having completed civil engineering?

You can select civil engineering as the optional subject. It is possible for candidates to select their subject as optional one. But selection is restricted with the list of subjects mentioned in the website of UPSC. Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc are some other engineering streams available. Other than optional subject, candidate need to select one language also.
