The AFCAT stands for AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST is carried out every year and is controlled by the IAF.
In 2011 the exam is held on March 27 in designated test centers. The AFCAT is a 2 hour long exam which will have objective type question. Any candidate who aspiring to join the Indian Air Force needs to appear for the AFCAT entrance exam. The Syllabus of AFCAT exam is basically what you have read in you secondary scool examination and hence will test students in the areas like 1.Reasoning, 2.Numerical and 3.verbal ability. Other than these students will also be tested in General awareness and Knowledge. |

Air Force Common Entrance Test is conducted by Air force for short service commission in flying branch and short service commission and permanent commission in Technical an ground duty branches. This test is conducted for the selection of candidates in SSB. The candidates of engineering are eligible to apply for the Flying Branch, Technical branch an ground duty branch. The test conducted will be of 2hrs and contain multiple choice questions on 1.Verbal Ability 2.Numerical Ability 3.Reasoning 4.General Awareness 5.Aptitude So you to prepare for the above questions for the AFCAT. The candidates who are qualified in the examination will be called for the SSB. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the carrier website of air force. In AFCAT exams you will get questions like Numerical, Verbal and Reasoning Ability. There will also be a section in General Knowledge, So, please Work hard on these sections only then you will be able to clear this exams.
So, in AFCAT exams you will get questions around 100. So, please purchase some good Books from the market, which covers all these sections and keep practice these section regularly, only then you will be able to clear this exams. And also purchase some previuos year questions papers from the book stores Or download papers from the internet andd try to solve them regularly, this will build your confidence and you will be able to solve question in your exams. So, please purchase previous papers and try to solve them regularly, in this exams you will get questions from GK, Verbal and Reasoning ability. So, please work hard in these sections and if you want to see the AFCAT GK paper then please check the given attach files - |

The full syallabus for this paper is published in the prospectus and the questions asked in this exam on the basis of Numerical, Verbal and Reasoning Ability.

AFCAT i.e Air force common admission test is having Exam on March 27, 2011
There by some information i am fetching you about Pattern and syllabus. 2 hours will be the Exam duration with multiple choice of questions which is having 1. Reasoning 2. Numerical ability 3. Verbal ability (English) 4. General Awareness, GK 5.General Aptitude The number of questions would be around 100 or may be more. Preparation for AFCAT 2011 and based on previous years questions paper exam is concerned Its not a hard Exam , its easier than Bank PO exam . Its totally based on General Knowledge adn General Affairs which is day to day current affairs. For General Knowledge :- Manorama Year Book For Current Affairs :- start Reading News paper Or listening News. |
