i want the syllabus for gate and ies exam.
i would like to prepare for both the exams.

You didn't mentioned that which stream syllabus you need actually for preparation.As there are many stream in B.Tech that eligible for Gate Entrance like
Mechanical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electronic and Electrical Engineering
Information Technology
Computer Science Engineering etc...
Where as in Indian Engineering Service exam only the students who have complete Engineering Course with either
Mechanical
Electrical
Electronic
Civil stream are eligible for this exam.

If you have mentioned particular course i would have attached the syllabus for that stream for Gate Entrance exam.

GATE i.e Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

To apply for the examination,the candidate should have a graduate degree in engineering/technology/architecture from a recognized university or equivalent qualification and final year of degree course can also eligible to apply for the examination.



I.E.S i.e Indian Engineering Service Examination.

you will have to specify your branch.different banches have syllabus accordingly.

i want syllabus for electrical & electronic branch for Gate & IES both exm...

i'm the final year student in BCA can i eligibal to gate exam

i am 4th year student ,my stream is EC .i had two years gap(i.e. in 1st year & in 2nd year). whats are my chances in campus selection . guide me about GATE & IES exams . i had read GATE score is madatory for selection in PSU's ? if yes ,if i cracked GATE will they select me (by ignoring my two year gap in engg.)?

To get into engineering you must have to clear you engineering entrance exam
For that you must have to fill application form for respective colleges , but each college have some of its eligibility conditions like iit gives only two attempts and you must have a minimum of 60% marks in +2 particularly in pcm (physics,chemistry and maths)
Then appear in respective college entrance exam, if you get qualified than you will get admission in that college.

am at 3rd year mechanical my question is that tell me the diff between ies and pus and gate...is there any similarity in syllables.....nd which is better for more salary ......nd i got 1st class in my both two years so there is any need to join the class for preparation coz i do study in point of gatting good marks not in deep....thnku....
