I coudnt apply for AFCAT held in march. Is AFCATheld again in the year? If yes kindly update me concerning the advertisement schedule and other details.
I would be highly gratefull.

AFCAT or Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted for the admission for the course which will be commence in January of next year for grant of Short Service Commission SSC / Regular in Technical and Ground Duty Branches for Male & Female candidates.

AFCAT Important Dates for 2011 :
Date of Admission test – 27th March 2011
(For AFCAT Courses Commencing in Jan 2012)

Last date of Receipt of Admission test – 22nd Feb 2011

Sorry you have to apply for AFCAT next year...........

Yes AFCAT exam is conducted twice in a year. One exam is conducted in the
month of March and another exam is conducted in the month of August.
So if you have not applied in the March examination then you can apply for the
August examination.

The important dates for AFCAT for the month of August exam is given below:

Last date for submission of form: 11 july 2011
Date of exam: 28 August 2011

The exam for AFCAT are held twice a year.Once in March and another in August.For this year one exam is already over.You can apply for the other exam.The last date to receive the application form is 11th July 2011 and the Examination Date is 28th August 2011 for the course to be commencing on JULY 2012.

Applications are invited from bright young engineers for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for the following Courses starting from January 2012 and July 2012. AFCAT is organized twice in a year. So, you can apply for it. You can also apply for CDS for entering into Indian Air force.
