UPSC Includes lot of Exams like NDA, CDSE, SCRA, CSAT, IES and many more.
Taking CSAT as concern Civil Service Aptitude Test Or Civil Service Exam is conducted by upsc Government every year. Its having Two exam one is prelims and 2nd one is Mains(you are eligible for this Exam if and only if you clear prelims.) For Eligibility you must be A bachelor's Degree from Recognized university. Age limits are 21 to 30 years of age. Quote:
Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.(This is For IAS 2011 & For Next year Exam it will be different ) Basically for OBC its 5 years of Relaxation and for SC/ST its 7 years Attempts:- For General Category :- only 4 times. In UPSE Exam Age Limitation And No of Attempts for OBS candidates are different
than the general. Upper Age Relaxation and more no of attempta are provided to the OBC candidate. Age Relaxation : 3 years age relaxation are providede tp the OBC candidate over the general i.e 33 years is the upper age limitation No Of Attempts : A OBC candidate can give seven times the UPSE exam. |

Eligibility for civil services :
(i) Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011, 35 years for SC/ST and 33 for OBC . education : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university. Eligibility Criteria for IES You must have got Degree in any one of the following : Electrical Engineering Electronics & Communications Engineering Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also Final year students are also eligible. Your age should be not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years.There is relaxation for SC/ST in upper age limit of 5 years and for OBC its 3 years |
