There is CGPA cut off for IISC Bangalore admission in higher studies course. The eligibility criteria is mentioned as below:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or its equivalent in technology from a recognized university with minimum of 8.5 CGPA out of 10.

There is no such fixed CGPA for IISC Banglore.
Students are shortlisted for PhD interview (For departments who do not take written tests for shortlisting) on the following basis: Either GATE score or CGPA in M. Tech & B. Tech for candidates who have Masters degree and are applying for regular PhD.
