Is there any eligibility criteria for IAS exam?
I completed in diplamo in mop. I completed my degree by joined direct 2nd year in b.com. At present doing m.com final (2nd) year. Is there is eligibility to do i.a.s exam?

hi,
you need to have degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educatsional institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be a Deemed University under the UGC Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification. verify your Age limit you must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below: upto a maximum of 5 years for to SC/ST. upto a maximum of 3 years for Other Backward Classes. Number of attempts The maximum number of attempts restriction is effective from the examination held in 1984. In case other eligibility conditions apply: General candidates: four attempts. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction. Other Backward Classes: seven attempts. |

Yes, there is a eligibility criteria for IAS.
1. the only educational criteria for IAS is a graduation in any stream from any recognized university..... 2. Your age should be between 21 years and 30 years. [33 years and 35 years for OBC and for Sc/ST] If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria, then you can apply for IAS. Yes offcourse you can go for IAS exam.
Minimum education criteria = Graduate also Candidates appearing for Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination, however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination. He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing A general candidate can attempt Four times only.Where as Seven attempts of OBCs. And no limit for SCs/STs. |

hi,your eligibile for the exam bec for IAS exam a degree qulification required u are eligible for that.This exam notification will be on Dec and u need to submit appl jan 17 onwards .you are age limit 21-30 years .if u are oBC upto 33 ,if u are sc/st upto 35 ,min attempts for oc 4 times,oBC 7 times,Sc/st no limit preapre well and all the best

Yes for IAS you have to full fill the all eligibility criteria. The minimum qualification required is graduation and the minimum age is 21 year.
IAS exam is very hard so if you start your preparation before some month only then you can get the success. If you need, you can also join any coaching institute. |

Eligibility Criteria For Ias critera
(i) Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011 (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification. (iii) No. of permissible attempts : Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs (Para 3 (iv) of Notice) (iv) Fee : Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) (No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only) this is the basic critera for the OAS exam. thanks.. |

Well if you are thinking to fil application form now then sorry to say but the last
date to fill the application form has been over so you can not fill this form this year .You have to wait till next year.Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC to select candidates for IAS,IPS and other services . Eligibility :: You must be graduate with any stream from a recognized college. Your age should not be less then 21 and more then 30 years if you fall into general category . There is relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limits and no of attempts . 5 years in upper age limit for SC/ST 3 years is upper age limit for OBC No of attempts :: general students :4 OBC students :7 SC/ST: no limit |

for appear in this exam you must have to complete your B.TECH\B.E, THE AGE LIMIT FOR THIS EXAM 21-30.there are also 5 & 3 years of relaxation for SC\ST & OBC candidates. the graduates in electricel, or civil, or mechanical, or electronic & communication are eligible for this exam,. Candidate must have degree qualification from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OH candidates) 2.You must be citizen of India 3.Minimum age limit is 21 years. After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam. I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year. Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year. There is no IAS examination it the Civil Service examination for selection of IAS/IPS/IFS/IRS etc as the case may be.
IAS- INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one has to sit for the Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC once every year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS CIVIL SERVICE EXAM:- -The candidate must be an Indian National -Should have either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University -Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years of age along with upper age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidate and up to 3 years for OBC candidate With these minimum eligibility one can apply for IAS Civil service Exam.
