is there any lateral entry in b.tech into second year after b.sc in iit or nit? if not please give me a list of other govt colleges. please reply soon. thank you.

in IIT has no admitted in lateral entry after diploma
they will direct from first......

but iit is a good college.......

Sorry to say but there is no any scope of lateral entry in IITs & NITs.
But you can try for other institutes for lateral entry in second year directly.
You can appear in state university like WBUT,BPUT,MPUT etc.
which allow the students to take admission directly in second year after their diploma.

There is NO lateral entry into B.tech 2 nd year after B.sc in IIT or NIT because it is a government college.In IITs and NITs only admission through entrance exam not lateral entry.
All NITs and IITs are best institutes of India so no lateral entry in this colleges.

no you can not join b.tech in 2nd year
after bsc or nit youi have to give entrance & then you can go for it.........
govt college are
* nit Rourkela
*iit bangalore
*iiit hyderabad
etc.........

yes there is lateral entry.

There are no entry in 2nd year of B.Tech after B.Sc.
you can take admission direct in B.Tech 2nd year if you have passed diploma.

for diploma student there is direct entry in B.Tech 2nd year.

IIT's and NIT's are not offer such type direct admission in 2nd year of B.tech after completing B.Sc in IIT,or NIT...
if you really want to go for b.tech then you have to appear in entrance exams like IIT-JEE..
after cracking this type of exam they will call you for admission in B.tech.
there are lots of govt. colleges those provide such admission like-
1.Jadavpur engineering college
2.BESU(bengal engineering and science university)
3.Jalpaiguri govt. engineering college..
4.Kalyani govt. college of engineering
these are the name of govt. colleges in West bengal..
