NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and same is a national level entrance examination held by CBSE once every year for offering admission in undergraduate medical degree course across any medical college of India except AIIMS and JIPMER.

--> The minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in NEET are as here under :-

* You must hold the citizenship of India.

* Your age must be at least 17 years by the 31st December of that year in which you are going to appear in the same examination while it should not exceed 25 years by the date of entrance examination. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must have completed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from a recognized board of education. Also, the minimum percentage of marks in PCB group subjects must be at least 50% if you are a general category candidate. Marks relaxation upto 10% is allowed for reserved category candidates.

So, having completed your Class 12th with PCB group with 58% marks, you are eligible for NEET if your marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together is at least 50% or 40% in case you belong to reserved category.

Yes, you can appear for NEET Exam next year as you have secured more than 50% marks in 10+2.

As per eligibility criteria set by CBSE for NEET exam, any candidate (of Unreserved category) who has secured more than 50% marks in 10+2 (PCB) is eligible for appearing in NEET exam.

Also, appearing candidates of 10+2 standard are eligible to apply for NEET exam.
