if you are a christian you can read english bible daily
try to talk in english with your friends

You can improve your communication skill by reading eng newspapers , other magazines , practising self talk infront of a mirror.

I had the same problem of improving my communication skills and the command of english language during my start of my college but now i feel pretty k about it but not an expert the only thing which i did is started conversing in English with my friends whenever needed, that made a drastic change in my college, i use to never feel ashame even if i dont know to speak but at start it was really bad but now i feel far better because i practiced speaking it all time... so i will advice you to start speak in english and hear some english songs too that will help sometime... and one more important thing is you have to be sure of the grammar when you speak cause it plays a major role to have the command in the language, i used some of the books which i have attached in this post... check it over... hope it helps you too......

A candidate must have knowledge of english to know any work.

To improve communication skills you should try to speak english with your friend.you should read english newspaper,listen english news and read english Novel.

The best way to improve your English communication is to speak whatever you have knowledge of grammar you have.
Try to communicate in English only .
Read English newspaper daily and understand the contents.
watch English movie.
Refer some Grammar books to improve you grammatical errors.
Record your own voice and listen for pronunciation mistakes.
Daily remember some vocabulary which is used in day to day life.
Read loudly in English for 15-20 minutes every day.

You can practice & make a habit for the same by---

Reading English Newspapers: Any English newspaper eg- Times of India, Indian Express, The Hindu, Mid-Day whichever you feel interesting make a habit of reading them regularly. You can begin with 15minutes/day & increase amount of time considerably after some time.

Carry with you a pocket oxford dictionary. So, whenver you encounter any new word which you are not aware of, you can immediately check its meaning & note it down.

You can even read novels any fiction- comedy, romantic or science fiction, mystery type & increase your vocabulary.

Watch news in English language & watch programmes telecasted in English language.

Talk as much you can with/ without errors in English. This will bring confidence in you.

Quick English vocabulary booster activities
1. An English word a day

Choose a new word or phrase from your notebook and try to use it as often as possible in one day. Think of situations where you would need to use it, and write down a couple of example sentences. Go back to this word or phrase after a week, to make sure you still remember it.

Some people find index cards useful. You can write down the word on the card and carry it around with you for a day, taking it out of your pocket whenever you have a moment and trying to put it into a sentence.

2. Review

- Read whatever content that comes your way
- Learn a new word each day and learn how to use it correctly
- Remain with the simple words and progress to complex ones when ready
- Write essays using the words learned
- Be open to criticism and learn from it but dont be discouraged
- Get alternative words to avoid repeating yourself : Thesaurus could be of great help

to speak english you have to be confident and to gain confident your vocab should be good...you don't need to learn very difficult words..but try to learn simple english...there are books for spaken english which you can try...as you learn new words try to implement on your daily life .
