What is the age limit for applying to join NDA?

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Every year UPSC will conduct this NDA Exam twice a year to recruit the candidates into following defence services
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

The complete selection procedure would involve
NDA Exam
Interview
Medical Test

Here is the eligibility criteria required to apply for NDA Exam.

Academic Qualification :
One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing.

One should have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in their 12th class to apply for Navy and Air Force wings.

As per the required age criteria,

The candidates should possess an age between 16.5 years to 19 years to apply for this Exam.

No relaxation will be provided in upper age limit for the candidates of any category.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Exam.
