In the Combined Defense Service Exam, there is no provision for relaxation of age for candidates belonging to any category. Since the examination is conducted for all the three defense forces, the maximum age limit to apply for each of them varies and are as follows:
Indian Army-24 years (IMA), 25 years (OTA)
Indian Air Force- 23 years
Indian Navy-22 years

The minimum eligible age for each of them is 19 years.

Once you qualify the exam for the Indian Air Force, you will be able to join the Flying Branch and after completion of necessary training, you will become a pilot in Indian Air Force.
