Re: What is the basic qualification requirement for IAS?
The basic qualification required for the candidates to join IAS is as follows
Completion of Graduation in any of the stream from a recognized university. No percentage of marks required for the candidates in Graduation to apply for the Entrance Exam. Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation and waiting for the results can also apply for this Exam. Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation are also eligible but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. The selection procedure would involve CSAT Exam Main Exam Interview In CSAT Exam, the questions will be from the following categories Aptitude Current Affairs General English Where as for Main exam, you have to choose one optional subject and the questions will be on that subject itself. The required age for the candidates should be 21-30 years. You did not mention your highest level of academic qualification that you have. If you possess the above mentioned criteria, have good preparation for the entrance exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |
