How to prepare for IAS? What is the age requirement?


i want to know how to prepare about ias?what is its age requirment.I heard that 30'is it rite? What is its minimam qualification?

IAS Aspirants, first crack the Civil Examination

First you can appear for Civil Examination

Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones,

For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there

if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for civil examination

Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination


B.)Age Factor:-

1.> For general category :-

21-30 years and can attempt 4 times.

2.>For SC/ST :-

21-35 years ,and there is no limitation .

3.> For the OBC:-

21-33 years and can attempt 7 times.

Educational Qualification

>> Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university,

>> Final year students also eligible for this examination

>> There is no percentage required for this examination

Nationality

>> Candidates should be a citizen of India

Selection Procedure

** Preliminary Examination

** Mains Examination

** Interview Test

No.of Attempts

>> Maximum 7 attempts for general candidates

>> Maximum 4 attempts for OBC Candidates

>> There is no restriction for SC/ST candidates

Hai,

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducting this exam every year.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.

Eligibility criteria:-

Applicant must be graduation completed student, because the minimum qualification is graduation and this graduation must be complete from a recognised university.

Final year appearing candidates also eligible.

No need of percentage restrictions to apply this exam

Applicant must be a Indian citizen.

Age criteria:-t

For General category candidates 21 years to 30years,

For OBC category candidates 21 years to 33 years,

For SC/ST category candidates 21 years to 35years.


Selection process:-

Civil Service Preliminary exam,

Civil Service Mains exam,

Personal Interview.


Number of attempts:-

4 times chance for General candidates,

7 times chance for OBC candidates,

No limit for SC/ST candidaes.
