What is the basic qlification for scra raiway examination...please tell me

SCRA exam is Special Class Railway Apprentice examination which is conducted by UPSC every year.

One should be 10+2 or equivalent pass with physics and mathematics subjects from a recognised board of education.

Please note that only physics and maths students are eligible to apply for SCRA exam.

Age must be between 17 to 21 years if you want to apply for SCRA exam.

The selection is based on the performance in written exam and interview.

Those who pass SCRA exam and are selected will undergo training of 4 years in which they will get stipend .

You will also get other benefits along with stipend like accomodation , railway pass and medical facilities.

After completing training you will work as apprentice in Indian Railway .

Special Class Railway Apprentice(SCRA) exam 2013.The last date for submission of online application is 12-11-2012. UPSC SCRA Exam dates is 20-01-2013.Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for SCRA Exam 2013 is just 10+2/Intermediate pass with Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry.Graduate students can also apply for this exam.

Age limit:

Candidates must have at least 17 years and below 21 years.

Dear,
qualification required to be eligible for SCRA-Special Class Railway Apprentice exams are as follow-

I- candidate must have passed 12th in Ist or IInd division from a recognized Board.

Or

Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University.

*In both cases Mathematics along with any one of the subjects- Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination is mandate.


II- Candidate must be of 17 years and must not have completed 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination.

SCRA: Special Class Railway Apprentices

This examination is conducted by UPSC, every year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12th examination OR Graduate degree course with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects.
Final year appearing candidates are also apply for SCRA Examination.

AGE LIMIT:Candidates age minimum 17 years and not more than 21 years.
