btech holder can apply in net2012...please provide to me the details for the same

NET stands for National Eligibility Test .Every year NET Exam is conducted by UGC. The Educational Qualification is required for NET Exam is masters degree with above 55% marks . Marks relaxation provide for SC/ST category , for those category marks needed 50% in masters degree. But your degree must be recognized . Final year student are also applicable for NET Exam Sorry to say that you are not applicable for NET Exam because you have only b-Tech degree so first get your M-Tech degree then you can apply here . Eligibilty for the NET exams conducted by UGC:
>> Post Graduation pass with minimum 55% marks for the General and OBC candidates minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates. Since you are just B.tech you cannot apply for the UGC-NET exams But NET exams are conducted for getting the eligibilty to teach in colleges. But since you are B.TECH and you want to teach in Engineering colleges than below is the eligibilty as precribed by AICTE BE/BTECH PASS and ME/MTECH pass Candidates should ahve scored minimum 60% marks in either BE/BTECH or ME/MTECH |

UGC NET 2013
UGC (University Grants Commission) conducts NET (National Eligibility Test) twice every year, in the months of June and December for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and eligibility for lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. AGE LIMIT: MAXIMUM: 28 years QUALIFICATION: Must a degree with 55./. marks. All the best |

The eligibility conditions for UGC NET examination to be conducted on 30 June 2013 are as follows: >> A minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent qualification from Universities/Institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc (50% marks for SC / ST / PWD applicants) >> Aspirants who have appeared OR appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been postponed are also eligible to apply. Though, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of JRF / Lectureship eligibility only after they have cleared their Master’s degree examination or equivalent with the above mentioned minimum marks. Such candidates should complete their Post Graduate degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with requisite percentage of marks otherwise they will be disqualified. >> Only 50% marks are required for PhD degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19 September 1991. >> Appear in the subject of post-graduation only. If, PG subject is not enlisted in item No 9, appear in an allied subject. |

Hi friend........
NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission. This exam has two ways Lectureship Junior Research Fellowship Eligibility: Candidate should be citizen of India. Candidate should complete the Post Graduation from any recognized University. You should required min 55% of marks in Post Graduation. 5% marks relaxation for SC\ST category. No upper age limit for the Candidate Lectureship. But JRF candidates age limit should be not more than 28 years. All the best............. |

Eligibility Criteria: **The candidate should be citizen of India. **The candidate should be complete the graduation from any recognized university **Minimum 55% of marks in Post graduation course in order to be eligible for this exam. **For SC/ST candidates 5% of marks relaxation. **There is no upper age limit for candidate Lectureship For Junior Research Fellowship - You should be not more than 28 years.
