Civil Services examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

The examination pattern of Civil Services exam is :

Preliminary examination.

Mains examination and Personal interview.

If you see the latest pattern of Civil Services examination, now candidates have to only select one subject for optional paper. From one optional subject, there will be two papers of 300 marks.

As you are doing post graduation in economics, for you it will be the best subject to score good marks.
