Common Proficiency test is conducted by the ICAI twice every year in the month of June and December.

10+2 passed or appearing candidates can apply for the exam.

It is an objective test consisting of questions from:

>>Mercantile law

>>Economics

>>Fundamentals of accounting

>>Aptitude.

June CPT 2015 exam is over, you need to wait for the December exam.

For any more details visit www.icai.org.

Your question is not very much clear. First you asked what is the procedure to appear in CPT (Common Proficiency Test) ?, But in content you have asked what is the procedure to reappear in CPT Exam ?

For Appearing In CPT Exam ?

You need to register yourself with ICAI through any of its branches spread all across the country. Purchase the prospectus and submit it to concerned branch or send it to ICAI, Delhi. Exams of CPT are held twice a year in the month of June and December. After filling admission form of CPT you will be getting study material for various subjects from where questions shall be asked in the exam. After registering yourself with ICAI fill the examination form which has to be filled before march if you are appearing for June attempt and in the month of September if you want to appear in December.

For Reappearing in CPT Exam ?

Once you have registered for CPT then you can appear for maximum six attempts. For reappearing you just need to fill the exam form before two months of exam. Usually it is month of march in case of June attempt and September in case of December Attempt.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
