NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Arts and commerce streams are applicable Indian Army wings only.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for NDA exam.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

NDA Means National Defence Academy and this Examination is organized by Union Public Service Commission for every twice in a year . To apply for this Examination you should complete 12th standard from recognized recognized university .


Educational Qualification :-

For Army Academy :- You should complete 12th standard in any discipline from recognized university

For Navy and Airforce Academy :- You should complete 12th standard in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics from recognized university .

Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .

Important :- Pass marks is Enough to apply for this Examination .

Age Limit :-

Your age should be Not less then 16.5 years and not more then 19 years

There is no upper age applicable for any category candidates .

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination . Female and Unmarried male candidate are not eligible to apply for the Examination .

This is conducted by the union public service commission under the defense service sector every year two times "June" , "December".

This is common entrance exam for admission in indian air force and in indian navy and in indian army.

First of all you must be indian citizen and only unmarried male candidates can apply NDA exam.

Educational Qualifications:

For indian army, required educational qualifications are you must completed the 10+2 from recognized board of intermediate.

For indian navy and air force, required educational qualifications are you must completed the 10+2 with maths and physics as a compulsory subjects from recognized university.

Age Limit :

Required age limit for all courses, you should be between 16 1/2 years to 19 years at the time of applying post.

Age Relaxation:

In defense sector age relaxation is NOT available.

Physical Slandered:

Height must be 153 cm and chest must be 84 cm.

NDA i.e. National Defence Academy is the All India Entrance Examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year in the months of April and August as NDA 1 and NDA 2.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA:
• Candidates who have cleared 10+2 and those who are currently doing can apply
• Those who had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force.
• Candidates appearing for the exam must be bachelors .They must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years ie not before 1st July, 1994 & not later than 1st January, 1997.
• Non-permanent citizens of India are not allowed to apply
• Nationalities of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugee can apply only if they have migrated to India with a purpose to become permanent citizens of India prior to January 1st
• In case candidates origin is from India but actually migrated from either neighboring countries of India or East Africa nations like Uganda and Kenya can apply provided they are planning to permanently settle in India.
• Gorkha category of Nepal need not submit any proof
