IAS : Indian Administrative Service

IPS : Indian Police Service

These two are Indian Civil Services done by Indian Nationals only, after clearing a entrance exam called UPSC Civil Service Exam.

After clearing that exam according to the applicants interest or vacant posts he/she are called IAS officer or IPS officer.

For these officers the salary structure will be given below please have a look.

first of all before knowing about salarys of these officers. you should know about scales.

The IAS/IPS officer after his posting he will be categorized into different scales depending on his seniority and experience.

The scales are as follows

->Junior Scale(0-4years)
->Senior Scales(4-9 years)
-Senior time scale
-Junior administrative grade
-Selection grade(Till 13 years)
->Super Time Scale(13-16 years)
->Above Super Time Scale(16-25 years)

Salary's for these Scale officers

Junior Scale
->pay band is 15600-39100 plus grade pay of 5400/-

Senior time scale
->pay band is 15600-39100 plus grade pay of 6600/-

junior administrative grade
->pay band is 15600-39100 plus grade pay of 7600/-

Selection grade
->pay band is 37400-67000 plus grade pay of 8700/-

Super Time Scale
->pay band is 37400-67000 plus grade pay of 10000/-

Above Super Time Scale
->pay band is 37400-67000 plus grade pay of 12000/-

Apex scale is 80000 with no grade pay.

Cabinet secretary grade 90000 without any grade pay.

These are the figures of salaries an IAS officer going to get in his service.

like wise IPS officer will also get the same.

more or less but equal in the respect what they get in the society.

u should be choose any faculty after 10th like; science , commerce, arts, mcvc & and completing any graduation degree
